About Us
Started in 2001 in Northampton, with the sponsorship of one child in Africa, the charity now sponsors 8 children worldwide, as well as helping deprived children (and inevitably their families and communities) in eastern Europe and the UK.
We moved premises in May 2004 to South Derbyshire and since then we have established ourselves in the East Midlands area as an organisation that will actively help those in desperate need.
Our main contacts are the agencies that help the homeless and the Womens Refuges when they get short notice people coming to their centre.
In these circumstances, the agencies will provide the shelter, whilst we will provide some food and hygiene items that will last a couple of days until the welfare benefits are sorted out. We at least make sure that no-one goes without something to east and at least being able to wash themselves as well as their clothing.
We are expanding our operations into the rest of the Midlands area, and are trying to contact the agencies in here to see if we can also help them.
